Collection: Bridget Greenwood

Bridget is a contemporary abstract landscape artist based in Cheshire. Having had a successful career in advertising in London, Bridget returned to painting
on 2020 as a result of lockdown.

Bridget’s painting explores her fascination with the landscape. She sketches outside
to record the moment, but her paintings are completed in the studio where they do
through many stages to reduce the landscape to shapes and marks.
Colour has always been her starting point and is central to her work. For Bridget,
colour has the wonderful ability to express emotion and help to convey the
landscapes ability to heal .

Artist Biography

Bridget was born in 1961 and grew up in Cheshire, she attended Art collage 1980’s
but only completed the foundation course due to unforeseen circumstances. She
then went on to have a successful career in advertising in London, only returned to
painting again in 2020, due to lockdown and the emotional outlet she needed at that
time. She has since had a successful solo exhibition with Galley 6 in Newark in
2021 and has had her work exhibited in various galleries throughout the UK. Her
work sells to private collectors worldwide.
